Herc from Ain’t It Cool News tweetered this just a little while ago…
“Just spoke to VIRTUALITY co,creator Michael Taylor he says VIRTUALITY is almost certainly dead at Fox but Taylor says VIRTUALITY producers are trying to get a VIRTUALITY series going as an int’l co_production, a la Meteor & Defying Graity.”
File this under, “Things That Make You Go Hmmm.” Stay tuned.
UPDATE: Herc goes a little more in-depth with his chat with Taylor over at AICN.
The Chicago Tribune’s Mo Ryan recently had this to twitter (tweeted? twuttered?)…
The first 12 minutes she’s referring to are actually the clips Cinema Blend posted a few days ago. As for the rest of the news… Kevin Reilly’s “Let’s amp up the thrills!” comment doesn’t surprise me. I’m sure it would have been only a matter of time before the network started using the crew’s virtual reality modules as a way to cross-promote other FOX shows. Frank Pike solves crimes with Bones. Billie Kashmiri is a contestant on So You Think You Can Dance. Ugh. Such is the lot of science fiction. Even though a series pickup is very unlikely, at least we’re almost certain to get the pilot on DVD.
